Established in 2015 within the "Mobile Lab" research center of the Milan Polytechnic, UNGUESS is the first platform in Italy to use crowdtesting methodology to conduct tests from which to obtain relevant and effective feedback from a community of real users (TRYBER).
Headquartered in Italy and with an established presence in several European countries, such as Spain and France, UNGUESS supports companies from different industries in improving user experience (UX), security and software product quality through functional testing, accessibility testing and user research.
After two capital increases, in 2020 and 2023, as a result of which the company raised a total of about 15 million, UNGUESS has grown exponentially thanks in part to the acquisition of Ferpection, a French company specializing in UX Research, made with the aim of creating a new European leader in the User Experience and Software Quality research market.
In 2023, UNGUESS initiated the following. URCA! User Research Conference & Activities, one of the first events in Italy designed to gather ideas, experiences and stories from the world of User Research, which will reach its fourth edition in 2026.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COLLABORATION
In recent years, UNGUESS' positioning has evolved from an innovative tech company to a Authoritative voice in the digital research and testing landscape. The collaboration with Disclosers was created with the goal of supporting this growth and translating it into visibility, reputation and institutional recognition. Therefore, it is important to preside over communication channels strategically, telling not only about economic achievements, but also about the scientific, human and cultural value that the company represents.
The collaboration with UNGUESS, which has been active for several years, aims to:
- Strengthen the reputation and image of UNGUESS as a benchmark in crowdtesting and user experience.
- Giving visibility to achievements, strategic partnerships, and product evolutions, including the new Accessibility division, which is critical to responding to European and Italian regulations on digital accessibility, adding to the previous Quality, Experience, and Security sections.
- Increase the presence of UNGUESS in industry and generalist newspapers, both national and international, through calibrated editorial plans and targeted releases.
- Support the narrative of international growth path, financial operations, and new market challenges, such as the increasing focus on accessibility and digital security.
These goals guided a long-term communication plan built to enhance the achievements and consolidate UNGUESS's identity as a European player capable of combining technological innovation, scientific expertise and social impact.
THE PR & MEDIA RELATIONS STRATEGY
To achieve the set goals, the strategy was set up according to a integrated and continuous, in which each communication activity was functional to the positioning of the brand and consistent with the themes that represent its leadership: user research, software quality, digital security and accessibility. The intent is to generate media coverage and, in parallel, build a narrative capable of transferring the value of the UNGUESS methodology and making it recognizable over time.
To achieve these goals, the communication strategy included:
- Production and dissemination of strategic press releases on capital increases, acquisitions, hiring, new appointments, and product innovations.
- Custom content creation that position UNGUESS as a reliable and innovative player, capable of responding effectively to the current challenges of digital transformation, such as the Accessibility Law and the NIS2 Directive.
- Targeted newsjacking activities on topics relevant to the market, such as Black Friday, cybersecurity and UX trends, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Ongoing follow-up on successful case histories, testing campaigns and surveys promoted by the UNGUESS research center, to maintain high media attention and stakeholder interest.
Each talk was calibrated to connect the corporate dimension with the disclosure dimension: on the one hand, news about investment rounds and strategic operations, and on the other, a constant narrative of the projects, data, and people that make UNGUESS a privileged observatory on the evolution of the digital experience.
RESULTS.
This integrated strategy has enabled UNGUESS to position itself as a major interlocutor on issues of User Experience, Digital Accessibility and Software Quality through research and insights disseminated through the media, and to foster the consolidation of brand awareness and stakeholder engagement through a continuous and articulate narrative of the company's innovations and values.
