Engineered Yarns and Technical Garments — Tecnofilati
Background
and objectives

Launch and Positioning of «Wellness Wear»

To establish BeGood on the Italian and European markets as the undisputed pioneer in cosmetic fabrics, positioning its patented leggings, pajamas, and athletic outfits as everyday allies for skin health and overall physical and mental well-being.

Crisis Management and Social Responsibility

To respond promptly to the COVID-19 pandemic by announcing Tecnofilati’s extraordinary shift in production to manufacturing washable protective masks, which were donated to the municipalities and communities of Bergamo and its province, areas that were severely affected by the virus.

Omnichannel Growth and E-commerce

Expand the brand’s digital visibility during repeated lockdowns to capitalize on the boom in home fitness and remote work, positioning the garments as the ideal choice for combining comfort at home, environmental responsibility, and self-care.

Corporate Governance and Industrial Sustainability

Highlight the strength of the parent company, Abati Group, and promote the circular innovation initiatives of its subsidiaries, such as ABAFIL’s launch of sustainable recycled yarns.

Strategy

The campaign launched and coordinated several strategic initiatives, alternating between brand storytelling and corporate emergency messaging.

High-Tech Product Launches

Media spotlight on BeGood’s new products featuring patented technologies: the men’s posture-correcting shirt, the yoga line, wellness T-shirts, shaping leggings, and the nighttime drainage pajamas, which have been named a must-have item.

High-Impact Endorsements and Media Partnerships

Very close collaboration with personal trainer Jill Cooper, a leading figure in physical and mental well-being—both for in-person events, such as the grand opening of the BeGood store at Orio Center in February 2020, and as a provider of wellness guides during the lockdown—culminating in a partnership with her television show *Yes I Can*.

Social purpose, conversion, and the «HumanWellness» line»

Significant attention was given to Tecnofilati’s industrial restructuring, which enabled the company to produce 10,000 antistatic masks per day that can be washed up to 10 times. The strategy then evolved into the launch of patented solutions for the safe resumption of commercial activities: the HumanWellness-certified adhesive face mask for hairdressers and estheticians, and the eco-friendly «Tecno» 100% line, Made in Italy.

Corporate, Green, and Sustainability

Coverage in the business media of the Group’s financial results: the growth in BeGood’s e-commerce sales (+250% online in 2020), the Abati Group’s financial performance (+28% in revenue in the first quarter of 2021), and ABAFIL’s commitment to circularity with its new linen-effect yarn made from recycled cotton.

Results

Ongoing public relations and media relations efforts that generated widespread, high-profile media coverage over the two-year period.
